Today HOSA students visited with 4th and 5th graders at Benton Elementary to assist with teaching lifesaving hands-only CPR to the PE classes throughout the day. We're so glad to see our students sharing these skills!

Career and Techical Education for the win! 💪
MCHS FBLA competed at the Region 1 Leadership Conference yesterday at Murray State University. Over 50 MC members participated in various business events against all FBLA chapters in this region. Our chapter received the award for “Largest Chapter in Region 1.”
We are so proud of all our competitors for their hard work and preparation. It was an outstanding day, as our club had 33 members win awards, some of which were in multiple events. These students will be heading to the State Leadership Conference in Louisville, KY, on April 8th-10th.

On Friday, three MCTC Welding students competed in the Skills USA Welding Fabrication Team Competition. The members were Kaylie Chilton, James Leidecker, and Ethan Odom. The competition was hosted by Iron Workers Local 782. Our MCTC students placed 1st and will compete in the State Competitions held in Louisville this April!! Congratulations to these students and our Skills USA chapter!

Happy National FFA Week! Marshall FFA members have been hosting daily events, and today was teacher/staff appreciation! Today they celebrated with popcorn to tell staff how A-MAIZE-ING they are!

Congratulations to Mrs. Forsythe's students on completing and passing their Microsoft Office Word Certification! These eight students enrolled in the Microsoft Office Specialist class and earned their Microsoft Office Word Certification after taking the exam last week! This is a huge accomplishment for these students, and a 100% pass rate! Great work to all!

FFA members put together a Leadership Day and welcomed members from across the Purchase Region to hear virtual greetings from Congressman Comer, a keynote address from KY Representative Richard Heath, leadership sessions by MSU Ag Ed students, and an industry Q&A session with several agricultural leaders in our area! Great work to all!

MCTC students worked together on a collaborative project for our MC Board of Education office! The metal was cut out by our welding program, painted by our collision repair program, lights added and hung by our construction technology/electrical program! Great work to all!
